Having just lost my job working for a corporate web team, I regained the desire to touch back into my creative roots. I wanted to give myself the opportunity to work for all different types of clients and really push my abilities. Days were spent mulling over names, trying to figure out what my brand should represent and what I wanted my company to say about me as designer. I wanted something unique, but not too obscure. I reached out to friends and family, hopeful something they suggested would hit a cord and inspire me. But I kept coming back to this elephant graphic. Something about it spoke to me, but none of the names I was coming up with hit quite right. But inspiration always comes when you least expect it, and thanks to an obscure TV show and the desire to have two words with the same number of letters, I finally landed on “Wondrous Elephant”. Typically, the more I stare at something, the more I dislike it, but this time the more I saw it, the more I fell in love with it.
